Broadway? New Songs, Please!
By: vinnidj@libero.it

Sometimes I think Mr. Simmons & Mr. Stanley always take the wrong decisions. They wanna retire as a live band and we can respect this feeling , cause you can't be "that" rock at "that" age. But at the same time they'll keep on goin' with all the merchandise that nobody really dreams of. Broadway is cool, films are cool, but what's the point? Why can't KISS record a couple of more albums? They'd use some brilliant artworks and they'd write some good songs, the band would really still exist and fans would be soo happy.

But we know that half of the band doesn't like (of course) to have just one or two songs on some ipotetic new albums. That's called royalties, so Peter & Ace prefer to lose the band rather than be the slaves of someone else's silly choises. It's brutal, but I know I love the idea of KISS, their best records and their best tours, but I can't feel like these are the most intelligent persons in the world. Maybe Bill Aucoin would have advised them better.

So Mr. Simmons, you're just the bass player of my favourite band and unfortunately you're not my role model cause I still make a difference beeween art and money. And I would make it easier with millions of dollars in my pocket. Gene, if you were talkin' this way 20 years ago, now you'd be workin' somewhere else. Sorry.
