It's in the same vein as his other bass-playing adventures. He uses mainly swing eights and a couple of eight-note triplets for this part. The octave work in the chorus is something he uses, along with the arpeggiation of a power chord, a lot on the bass. Love that little eight-note triplet thing right before the solo. And the slide from C to G in the last chorus is really cool. Nice change of octaves and an increase in rhythmic activity there to add a little urgency to the end.
