Comments: Ah, the evil one is upon us. Gene doesn't follow the guitars here
probably because the guitar-riff is strong enough on its own. What he does
is that he uses a static quarter-note pulse and just plays octave E's during
the non-vocal parts and then, during the verses, he once again plays mostly
E's (throws in the fifth for good measure) but now in a drop-one, counter-
point rhythm. Way cool. Because of the sparsity of the chorus, Gene just 
plays root notes to not weaken the impact of the chords. A master in action.
