Thoughtscape Sounds Announces They Are Going Out Of Business
From: Jack Sawyers, Creative Worx Entertainment

The company responsible for the distribution of the Tale of the fox video (Thoughtscape Sounds) announced to their on-line members on May 12th they were going out of business and that no more product would be shipped. KISS fans emailing Thoughtscape in regard to the Tale of the fox video received this message from Thoughtscape CEO, Scott Sosebee. "Thoughtscape Sounds is going out of business and no more product will be shipped. The Tale of the Fox video is now out of print."

Creative Worx Entertainment Announces an Alliance with Music Video Distributors.

Creative Worx, the production entertainment entity behind the Tale of the Fox video, as well as the unofficial KISS Unauthorized video, announced that they will be re-releasing the Eric Carr story on DVD as well as VHS, and that it will be exclusively distributed worldwide through Music Video Distributors (MVD), an east coast based company. Jack Sawyers of Creative Worx said that he was sorry to hear that Thoughtscape was going out of business as he released this statement:

"I was saddened to hear about Thoughtscape closing its doors and also that they would no longer be selling or manufacturing the "FOX" video. While we only pressed up 5,000 units of the Tale of the Fox video, we (to my knowledge) have only sold about 4,000 units and gave several hundred of the rest away as promos. It is obvious that anyone who bought the first release of Tale of the Fox will truly have a special collector's item as no more of those will be printed or released.

We have a new agreement with Music Video Distributors (MVD), which is a very STRONG and grounded company, to put out this NEW video and DVD. They have many titles currently in stores with national and international buyers, on just about every popular music act. I am confidant that MVD can put the Eric Carr video in the market place where it belongs. This video deserves in-store promotion as well as mainstream promotion and we feel that MVD is the right company for this product.

The new title will be: INSIDE THE TALE OF THE FOX : THE ERIC CARR STORY

Because of contractual obligations we cannot continue to put out the Tale of the Fox video without Thoughtscape's involvement. This new video will feature some of the same footage as the first, with newly found 8 mm film footage of Eric when he was still little Paul Caravello, and as a teenager jamming on the drums. We will have more never before seen photographs of Eric Carr throughout his life and while he was in KISS, along with some of his personal, candid photos of other band members.

I just want to say to all of the fans, this re release it not an attempt to get the fans to buy two of the same product because the packaging and content will be different. This re release is a new production that will consist of footage used in the first video, as well as additional material. I don't want to give up on the Eric Carr video just because Thoughtscape has gone out of business. I want to help keep Eric's legacy alive and have a video that will be around ten years from now for a whole new generation to find out who Eric Carr was.

We hope we can have a successful release with this new effort, and to all that love Eric this will be out soon!"

Thank you very much,
Jack Sawyers
Creative Worx Entertainment
