Hello, everyone, I have a special treat for you all. I've been able to contact Carrie Stevens and managed to do an interview with her about "Tale of the Fox," her life with Eric & career happenings.

Carrie is a beautiful model, accomplished actress, spokesperson for many companies, and now can add webhost to her long list of accomplishments with her new site http://www.carriestevens.net

Now for your enjoyment here's my interview with Carrie Stevens.

Video Spotlight: What was the mood like as you gathered and went through all your footage with Eric?

Carrie Stevens: My mood as I gathered the footage on Eric wasn't really something I can put into words. I resisted doing it, because I wasn't looking forward to mourning again. I just forced myself to do it, because I knew that my contribution to the project was valuable. Also, I am grateful for the respect that his family, Bruce Kulick and Jack (producer) give me as a significant part of Eric's history, even though we were never married. So, of course I wanted to support the project for them.

VS: Do you have more footage with Eric that wasn't used?

CS: A lot of the footage that was used was taken with the camcorder that Eric bought me for Christmas in 1990. I have some footage that wasn't used, but the footage they used in the video was the most representative of him. And, No! There is no X-rated footage in existence of us!

VS: Eric was known for constantly having a camera with him taking pictures of what you saw how much of that time was it a video camera?

CS: Eric loved to carry a camera and take pictures all the time. But he didn't own a camcorder until 10 or 11 months before he passed on.

VS: What is your favorite moment from this video either involving you or someone else?

CS: My favorite moment in the video is when he was explaining what everything on the dressing room table was for and he made a flirty comment to the wardrobe girl (Mary). Then he said if his girlfriend (me) ever saw it that I would kill him. That was especially cute, and I burst out laughing. Ironically, here I am now seeing it.

VS: Can you share your fondest Eric memories?

CS: It is really too hard to share my fondest memories. I can only say that he gave me self-esteem, and filled my life with hope, and my heart with love. I will carry that with me forever, and never stop missing him.

VS: How would you best describe Eric & this video using one word for each?

CS: Eric: angel - Video: alive

VS: Do you feel that finally Eric has gotten the respect & attention he deserved with the release of this video?

CS: Yes, I think the video gave him recognition. I would like to see it get more attention, maybe get released on TV for instance. He was very humble and would be amazed that people would go out of their way to give him this kind of respect.

VS: Ok one goofy question... In the video during the Hair Care "commercials" he does you said Eric looked like a Muppet. My friend & I agree that with his raspy voice he resembled Grover. Which Muppet would get your vote?

CS: I don't really know the names of Muppets. I think I meant Cousin It...I don't honestly remember what exactly I meant at the time that I said it.

VS: What did you find Eric's best quality was in the time you were with him?

CS: Eric's best qualities were his generosity, sense of humor, humility, and general kindness.

VS: Do you have a favorite song of either of Eric's of while he was in KISS & why?

CS: I really don't listen to Eric's songs. I can't hear his voice and not cry.

VS: What do you miss most about Eric?

CS: What I miss most about Eric is having a partner. I haven't had a committed relationship since. He set some high standards for me. He is a tough act to follow. I miss the intimacy we shared. I miss all the love he gave me.

VS: If you could relive one thing that Eric did for you or you both did together what would that be

CS: If I could relive one thing we did together, it would be enough to just see him look into my eyes.

VS: What projects have you had lately any new TV shows, movies etc..

CS: In the next week or two you can see me starring in the new Third Eye Blind video "Never Let You Go." Vote for it on MTV's TRL! (Total Request Live) http://www.mtv.com. Other than that I have been working on my web-site. I still do a lot of traveling for Playboy promotions and Coors/ Killians Irish Red Beer. I'm always auditioning. I act, model and host.

VS: Is there anyway that fans can get in touch with you

CS: Fans can contact me through my web-site http://www.carriestevens.net
Video Spotlight note: It is a very well put together site but I have to warn you itžs not for anyone under 18, as there is a bit of nudity in some sections.

VS: Do you have a message for all the Video Spotlight readers who have read my review of Tale of the Fox & all of Eric's fans who are reading this interview?

CS: My message to all the readers is that this will be the last interview I do about my relationship with Eric. It has been very fulfilling to me to be able to help keep his memory alive. Seeing Tale of the Fox made me feel close to him again, and for that I am thankful I was a part of it. But it has been 9 years and I must try to move on. It is hard when you are the girlfriend of someone famous and they pass away, not just the obvious pain, but also because I can never really be free. I am always going to be Eric's girlfriend in all of the world's minds. But I am alone. I sometimes can't believe I could be capable of feeling the pain I have felt and still breathe. I have come a long way in getting through the loss. But I don't want to drudge up the pain any more. So, I appreciate any fans that want to let me know that they remember Eric. I welcome any comments from fans through my website.

Video Spotlight Note: I am honored to have been chosen as Carriežs last Eric related interview. As you can see itžs is very hard on Carriežs heart to talk about Eric and obviously hurts very much. My thanks go out to her for answering these questions. She is indeed a very special person. Special thanks to Loretta Caravello for setting the interview up for me & of course Carrie for taking the time out of her busy schedule to answer these questions. Thank You all for reading this. See you soon with the 1st Video Spotlight Article of the Millenium coming soon.... Byron
