I wanted to drop you a note about the book and CD I just received.

Several months ago, I pre-ordered the book "World Without Heroes" which comes with a bonus CD of KISS songs covered by KAOL members worldwide.

My package came two days ago and I have to admit the CD is great. I have always had the mindset...nobody can do a KISS song like KISS does it so would never bother to purchase any music of theirs covered by any other band. But, since the CD came with the book I took it to work the next day and listened....and listened...and listened. I will admit it's darned good. There isn't once song covered on the CD that I don't like.

I will admit, I haven't had time yet to read the book (by Dale Sherman)...skimmed a few pages here and there and it looks good. I will take the time in the near future to read it.

I would encourage people to buy the book which comes with the bonus CD. The music is good AND you are supporting a charitable cause in the name of Eric Carr. Even if they might not like the book, the CD is well worth the money.
