"A World Without Heroes" Novel & CD Reviews

From: Jim A. Pearson

I first read World Without Heroes On KISS Asylum, and was hooked! It's a great story, but was like reading a comic book...you have to wait till next month to see what happened.

I just got my copy a week ago (#23!) and I am overjoyed! The story looks great in book form, and the artwork is superb. Although I would have liked more (like artwork showing the guys facing their fears near the end of the story (Ace finding out that he can't do it alone, Peter realizing that if you stay where you are...you'll die, and so on.)), it was still very well done. The CD is great too, although I'll admit I was suprised that some of the songs are without lyrics, or are greatly shortened. Then I realized that this was the "soundtrack" for the chapters, and sometimes just the music can carry the mood of the story...just like in a movie.

Dale...you have done a great book, and I tip my hat to you. Also, congrats to KAOL for the great soundtrack. I hope that you make the target you are aiming for, I and hope that you get that plaque in the Children's Hospital with Eric's likeness on it.
