1. HaTe- What a killer way to kick off this ultra-heavy album. This song is classic Gene Simmons. Sounds like it could be off of Creatures of the Night or Revenge...two of the heaviest KISS albums ever.
2.RaIn- This is a great Paul tune. Bruce's guitar is very heavy on this. Great melodies, yet it makes me wanna get in a mosh pit and kick someone's teeth in.
3. MaStEr AnD sLaVe- By far my fave KISS tune on this album. I could even put this on my all-time fave KISS song list. Another great Paul tune. Sounds like something Gene would sing but after you listen to it, you'll know that Paul can get evil too!
4. Childhood's End- I havent ever heard a song so deadly that I could sing along to. This is truly a new step for the band, and a well needed one. Gene shows his remarkable song writing skills on this track. It is up there with God of Thunder!
5. I will be therE- Give this song a chance...it will grow on you. I thought I was getting "EVERYTIME I LOOK AT YOU part 2" but I was wrong. Beautiful song by Paul.
6. JuNgLe- Boy, this song really rocks! I can't describe it very well...it just rocks! bottom line.
7. SeDuCtioN of The InnOcent- this song is TRIPPY. I don't do drugs but I bet this song is great when you are trippin'. Seriously, this is a really spaced out tune that is really cool.
8. It NeVer Goes AwaY- Great song. Slow and hard, just how I like it. Paul's vocals really shine through on this one.
9.In My Head- Great song to mosh to[ if you like that kinda stuff]. This reminds me of Pantera or something, but with that great demon voice I have listened to my whole life.
10. Confess- Not one of my fave songs but it's still pretty darn good. It's just too hard to compete with Master and Slave!
11. In the Mirror- KISS gets funky on this one. Bruce is doing some jive on this that I haven't heard him do before. Great guitar work, great song.
12. I WaLk AlOne- I have been anticipating Bruce's vocal debut for 10 years and now I get my wish. Great singer, great guitar player, and just an overall great guy. I think this is a fitting tribute to a guy who had big shoes to fill but ended up making his own damn shoes. Killer Song.
Overall, I rank this album with the classics. I have never heard KISS like this, and it's a shame. I wish that some of the other albums sound like this. I am a fan of all era's of KISS:makeup and 80's. I truly think KISS started a whole new era with this album. Too bad they can't finish it....who knows...maybe KISS will reunite with Bruce and Eric when 80's and 90's nostalgia comes in style!?!?!
