thanks for the chance to participate this rewiew session.

am 31 from slovakia, huge fan since 78 when hearing Double Platinum on horrible tape cope /keep in mind, that kiss were more or less forbidden in former East communist block/, first live concert seen during reunion tour at Prague /to see Kiss and die/, the CD bought from Germany with censored logo. Since not being familiar with the lyrics entirely /not present in cover/ I will focus on musical side only:

The CD provides, that the guys are still able to develop and do not depend on the fame of the past only. Still having a plenty of good ideas even being inspirated by new directions, the basic, the feeling remains the same.

just to point out some tracks:

Hate - a bit confusing intro, a really angry vocal, powerful guitars

Rain - the most Seattle influenced piece anyhow Paul keeps it on the Kiss side as for vocals

M+S - the highlight, powerful, dynamic, dark - Number one needs more words? "Tell me"

Childhhoods end - not a top song, needs to be listened many times

I ll be there - Im not into ballads very much anyhow classic good song, obvoius deep feelings excellent acoustic guitar work

In my head - dark, raw, angry, brutal "inmyheadinmihead" is esp.when backed by guitar at the beginning

Jungle - another top, strong drive, excellent long guitar jamming

Seduction... - oh lovely, when hearing I feel myself being somewhere in Persia at Princes palace, its hardly to believe that the singer of this is the same as the one of "inmyhead" or "hate" - it so relaxing, melodic, waw-waw solo brings the piece close to the list

I walk alone - as many rewiewers have said already, the voice of bruce is low and quiet a bit plus a bit silly tape tricks before guitar solo starts otherwise E X C E L L E N T. Briliant guitar /I allways repeat the guitar clinking when the song starts and ends/ , even better solo, incredible - contratulations to bruce.

The bans can just regret, that he was not allowed to present himself earlier

summary: a very good stuff. It shows the way which way the band could move ahead. Just imagine this CD being released in 96, woul it still be the the seattle copy and no other way round? I appreciate the reunion, but feel that the old ages are over and cannot be brought back again the and i am afraid that the reunion release will proove this. Good luck to Eric and Bruce.
