When i got this cd it was like an orgasm. Waiting 5.5 years is a long time and it is even longer when you know the cd is done but is not going to be released. I really love COS and i am really looking forward to Psycho Circus. Here is my track by track review:

1) HATE- I really love this song very good riffs and genes vocals sound very mean and hard and fit the song perfectly. Only thing it has in common with UNHOLY is the darkness of song. Drums and guitar riff and the lead sound nothing alike.

2) RAIN- Paul vocals continue to amaze me. i love the way he sings the verses kind of low keyed and then puts all the emotion into the chours. Very good gutiar work as well.

3) MASTER & SLAVE-oh man what a F#$kin' song. Could be the best one they ever did. I love the bass during the verses and i especially love the verse (the 4th one) where Bruces guitar kicks in (it should have done the same on the second verse). Then the chours kicks in and it just f#$kin' slams you. And it's a given that Paul is going to sing his ass off. I love this song.

4) CHILDHOODS END- This track is probably my least favorite on the disc. It is a good solid track and i do like it. It's just not as strong as the rest of the album. The chours kind of drags on at the end. I actually perfer the verses to the chours.

5) I WILL BE THERE- This a very beautiful song. I really like the stuff that rocks and i also like good ballads. Most ballads have an electric solo and i am not saying i don't like that but every once in a while it is nice to hear an Acoustic lead. This one is awesome as was the lead in FOREVER.

6) JUNGLE- Some more execllent bass by Gene and some more great vocals by Paul. I love the part where paul Screams "AHH IN THE JUNGLE" Man this guy can sing. The only thing about this song is it could have been shorter. i'm not sying i don't like songs just because there too long i just don't think this song needed to be as long as it was.

7)IN MY HEAD- Another great slamming song. Great vocals by gene. More great guitars by Bruce.

8) IT NEVER GOES AWAY- This is another fav for me on this album. Paul sounds great again. This seems to be the way paul's songs go on this album kind of calm on the verses and then very intense on the chours. But the songs still have qualities that make them differ. i especially love the way he sings this chours. He vocals just seem to (it's hard to describe) cut right through you the emotion he puts into it and the range of his vocals. The way he sings you just believe he means what he is singing.

9) SEDUCTION OF THE INNOCENT- A very cool song. Has bit of different twist to it. It has a melodic chours but still rocks hard. It was a very pleasant surprise. I like hearing songs that kind of break away from the traditonal rock sound but still sound good.

10) I CONFESS- My favorite Gene track on the album. When he sings the chours is probably the best i have ever heard gene's vocals. The chours just Kicks ass.

11) IN THE MIRROR- I have read some reviews of COS and most people do not seem to care for this song. But me personally I love it. Excellent druming Excellent guitars Excellent vocals. It has all the makings of a kick ass rock song.

12) I WALK ALONE- This song is okay. Bruce is a good singer but a way better guitar player. And after listening to Gene and Paul singing your expectations are very high. But i would rather KISS have recorded the song then left it off.

OVERALL I FEEL COS IS A VERY STRONG ALBUM. THE SONGS WERE VERY SOLID. BRUCE WAS EXCELLENT ON GUITAR AND PAUL AND GENE'S VOCALS WERE AWESOME. I STILL THINK REVENGE IS THERE BEST ALBUM( It contains Bruces best guitar playing), HOT IN THE SHADE NEXT THEN COS.
