"Psycho Circus" Single Reviews

From: cconnon@bayflash.stpt.usf.edu

I have listened to the song Psycho Circus about a dozen times and it really does get better each time. The first time was great and now it sounds incredible to me. It is everything I would expect from these guys. It's really cool to hear Ace and Paul do the harmonizing guitar solo's together again again. It kind of reminds me of something Jeff Watson and Brad Gillis would do. The song is dark but not too heavy. The versus are melodic, but the chorus is more a power scream, similar to "Jungle" and kind of like "Love Gun" I can tell that it IS Peter playing and he does a very commendable job. You guys gotta cut him some slack, the guys in his fifties. Put him up against another legend like Charlie Watts or Ringo Starr that is his age and Peter would blow them all away. In his day nobody could touch him, and he can still hold his own now. The song rocks, and I know the whole album will be even better. 3-3/4 stars out of 4.
