"Psycho Circus" Album Reviews

From: Gary Van Zilen

This is exactly what I expected from Kiss. An album that contains a few outstanding songs, a few mediocre songs, and at least one embarrassing song you might wish you never heard.

I won't bore you by opining on the material contained on Psycho Circus. The critique of music is a senseless activity. It is an entirely subjective activity. It's not like saying the New York Yankees have just won 112 games in a single season and therefore they must be good. I will however, defend one song in particular.

How could a Kiss fan not like You Wanted The Best? It is a quintessential Kiss song. Who else would write such self-aggrandizing lyrics, besides, this song is the hardest rocker on the album. I thought Rock and Roll was supposed to be fun. I'm tired of leftist musicians telling me I'm ruining the planet, killing the poor and so on. It's Rock and Roll remember.

Anyway here here goes, without further comment.

Psycho Circus A +
Within B +
I Pledge... B -
Into The Void C -
We Are One C -
Y W T B A +
Raise Your Glasses C -
I Finally Found... F +
Dreamin' A
Journey of... A

Overall / ? If you haven't noticed yet Rock and Roll is dead. I'm not complaining.
