Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Jay McLucas

I was at the opening show last night at the FleetCenter in Boston, MA.. The show was amazing! The opening act sucked, but once the lights went down at 8:45p the Circus began. From the opener, " Psycho Circus" to the last song, "Rock 'n' Roll All Night", there was not a dull moment. There song list consisted of psycho circus, into the void, and within from the new album, and love gun, making love, do you love, cold gin, calling dr.love, shock me, firehouse, beth, black diamond, i was made for loving you, detroit rock city, shout it out loud, king of the nighttime world, god of thunder, let me go rock n roll. The 3-d effects were pretty good too.

Paul sounded fantastic, Gene was Gene, Ace rocked, and Peter was awesome and never seemed happier! The highlight for me was Peter's solo. His whole set rose over the stage like a spaceship! The Catman sounded incredible. The only low point was the song "Within". It just did not sound good live, but "I was made for lovin you" was amazing live. I was also disappointed that they did not play other songs from the new album, and I would have loved to hear "Christine Sixteen" and some more songs from the Dynasty album and maybe a song from the Unmasked album.

I went to the Boston show last year which was awesome, but this year the Boys looked and sounded so much better, Kiss is back and kicking ass!

They played for a full 2 hours and I loved every minute. Kiss lives and I feel like a kid again. I would love to meet these guys and thank them for getting back together and reforming the Greatest Rock 'n' Roll band ever.
