Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

Boston Mass. Friday Nov 13, 1998

First and foremost I have got to say I'm 21 years old and the only KISS I know is the reunited KISS. I've seen tons of video of concerts all the way back to the beginning and would have love to have seen them back then, but I'm loving every minute it right now!! The Boston show was absolutely awesome, although my seats weren't as good as I'm use to, I had balcony side stage and I'm used to sitting down front just didn't have the money this time believe me it hurt. Anyway I had a decent view. I didn't hear much about last nights show, but i over heard several people saying tonight blew last night away. Gene, Paul, Peter and Ace were all in excellent form tonight right from the beginning. Maybe it was the 3 gorgeous girls front row center stage who spent 90% of the show topless, but I want to believe they are just damn good musicians. They rocked through Psycho Circus, shout it out loud, deuce, and the usual songs. Ace's guitar solo was in In To The void, Makin Love was performed. They finished off the main set with an action packed R.A.R.A.N. where aces guitar had a spiral firework spinning during his solo very cool. Encore was Beth, Detroit rock city and Paul's solo with Black Diamond.

Ace was on fire tonight, I've never heard him better and with the smoking and firework rigged guitars he stole the show. The 3-D effects were also very cool as was Paul's doing Lovegun from the center of the floor and Peter's moving drum kit. Gene had a little trouble getting off the ground for God of Thunder, but all in all it was a very smooth show. I'm tempted to call in sick Monday night and find myself up in Portland, Maine but I don't think the boss is a KISS fan. He just wouldn't understand.
