Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Thilo Wunderlich

My review of the show in Bremen/D:

What a disappointing show. Last time I've seen them in Dortmund/D (my first KISS concert) and it was great but this one was really disappointing.

They played one song and then announced they were not allowed to use fireworks at all (fire department wouldn't allow it), they even got an interpreter for this on stage, so everyone could understand it. Can you imagine a KISS concert without those great visual effects ? But they mentioned noone could stop KISS ... what might this be ?

This brings me to the 3D effects, won't comment on these. From my point of view there was a metal pole from the stage just in the middle of the movie screen. This is my explanation why the 3d thing didn't work for me.

Sound was bad, might be because we were standing on the left side of the stage in fronmt of the speakers, but as other mentionend in other reviews: guitarrs too loud - voices to silent. Might be the accoustic of the Bremer Stadthalle.

Special effects:

Spitting fire and blood

Shooting guitar, burning guitar, guitar with fire effect turning around the head (?) of the guitar, destroing a guitar.

Paul flew over the crowd to a small stage were he played one song. Confetti guns.

Drum solo with rising drumkit but it didn't move towards the crowd ! Gene didn't fly up to the roof !

At the end of the show they had some explosions and firework, as they said 'Noone can stop KISS'. Fire department couldn't do anything about it as the show was over :)

If they are coming back to Germany and they are coming to Bremen again I will choose another town to see them. (I am from Bremen but it really pissed me off).
