Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Carol Hendrix

BRUSSELS 23-3-' 99

This is my third concert of KISS during their European tour (I went to see them in Cologne & Utrecht) The venue in Brussels where small and there was only 1 screen in the middle of the stage. This time I had a good seat, on the left side of the stage on the same hight of the stage. I was only 3 meters from the stage.

KISS began the set with Psycho Circus, that song kick ass live. When Ace came over to the left side of the stage, I could see him very close and that was great. But when Gene came over, it was very impressive. A copple of times he looked me straight in my eyes! The Demon rules! During God Of Thunder Gene flied to the little place above the stage (He didn't fly in Utrecht) and Peter's drum went up & forward.

Because I had a good place I could see a lot of things happened on and off stage. During Ace's guitarsolo Gene went off stage and went to some people at the left side from the stage. He also maked funny faces. I had a great time. During a moment in the show Ace & Gene where dancing together. At one time Gene had a red clowns nose on and when Ace & Paul saw that they're laughing.

KISS had a great time and they where in a great shape. During Rock & Roll All Night there where a lot of confetti, the confetti went the whole song long. When the pyro's went on I got it really hot. I feel the heat off the flames over my body. I know now what they feel each night. From the place where I sat, I couldn't good see the 3-D effects but that didn't matter 'cause I saw it 2 times before. The songlist was the same, they played nothing new.

This concert was for me the best show that I've see during this tour. I'm proud to be a KISS-fan for over 20 years!
