Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: ECarpen560@aol.com

As a long time Kiss fan, I was really pumped to see them last night in Cleveland. Having missed the reunion tour, it was fun to see the "original" guys back together again. The show itself was fun and entertaining. I might be to hardcore, but last night was what Kiss has always been about... Put on one hell of a show and have fun doing it. The band looked as comfortable with each other as I ever remember seeing. It was nice to see Ace more involved then ever. . The 3d effects are o.k., but you loose track of what is happening onstage too much when you try and watch the screen. To me, it was fun to sit back and watch the guys at work. The Gund Arena was just about sold out, just a few scattered seats here and there. Overall the crowd was good. Kiss has always had a lock on Cleveland and tonight they played it up perfectly. The set list was just like what you have probably already read. They came on at 9:00 and left a little past 11:00. They rattled off 19 songs in machine gun fashion to the delight of the crowd. There were a few "breaks" during which Paul talked about previous shows in Cleveland( anyone here spend the night with us at the colisium during the blizzard?) and thanked Cleveland for being with them from day one. He also mentioned that they didn't care if they were in the rock-n-roll Hall of Fame or not. This is a point that bothers them more than they let on. They should be in the H.O.F. They are The Greatest Show Band of our time. This is a fun show and if you have never seen them, I would highly recommend it. Their onstage presence is unbeliveble and they will do what ever it takes to put on a good show. One would of caution.... I saw a lot of parents with little kids at this show last night. This may not be the right setting for little kids. The loyal Kiss fan like to Rock -N- Roll All Night and Party Every Day. I thought the little kid in back of us was going to loose it during the "blood". With the help of the giant video screen, it comes right into your lap. If you have never seen them before, DO IT. Just remember, this isn't about how is better..Eric Carr or Peter Criss. This is about fun and lots of it.
