Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Rachel Cramer

This concert was so much more than I expected. I knew that they would put on a good show, but I had no idea how elaborate and just awesome it would be. They all are such great showman, and so funny! This was my first KISS concert, and so I doubt this review will be well done, or very detailed, but it was so great, I just had to write about it! I thought that all the solos were really good. They are all good musicians (I know some people say they aren't, but they are). On Gene's solo he was raised up to a hanger thing from the ceiling and sang "God of Thunder" and spit blood on the audience below. On Ace's solo, ( the only one that didn't levitate) he shot of firey things from his guitar as well as smoke coming from his guitar, then, he attached his guitar to a string from the ceiling and it was raised (it was later shown launching into space) and then he got another guitar and finished the solo, which was incredible in and of itself. On Peter's solo, his drum riser was raised up and over the crowd, and I can't get to into drum solo's, but his was really cool, and he involved the audience. Paul's solo was the most surprising, in my opinion, because he really took control of the audience and proved what a good guitarist he is. He also flew across the audience to the sound area on the floor and preformed from a very mini stage (but not during his solo). Before he did this, he had a meter meausring the noise to know if we wanted him to come over, and of course, it was decided that we did. He talked a lot about how great Cleveland was, even though he said they didn't care about the Hall of Fame. He talked about playing at Agora Theater and how Detroit and Cleveland were the only two cities to catch on in the beginning. They all had so much energy! It was a fantastic show, I am sure I am forgetting some cool parts, but that is what happens when the show is so good!!!!
