Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Derek/Lisa

My wife bought me tickets to the show for Christmas - we came down from Ottawa, Canada to see the show! The guys still kick ass!

The highlights for me were, God of Thunder - Gene is the man, Shout It Out Loud, Rock N' Roll All Nite and the barnburner closer - Detroit Rock City - what else would they finish with?

I was pretty disappointed that the Dick Clark feed didn't work, I thought he was a big supporter, wonder why they didn't do it?

I wish they would play more songs off of the new one, and skip Within, it is a great song but it doesn't work live. I Pledge Allegience ..., Raise Your Glasses, We Are One, Journey of 1000 Years and especially my favorite You Wanted the Best - this one especially would get the crowd into the new stuff. Plus I think that KISS fans like it when the guys surprise them with certain songs they don't normally play and when they change the set list. Whats wrong with I Love It Loud, Creatures of the Night (Ace was still around for these ones in 1982), I Was Made For Loving You, even Domino - Ace and Peter could easily learn this song.

The 3D was really cool, but I think more could have been done with other songs, like God of Thunder.

I hope they keep it together well into the 21st Century and the Army stays strong.
