Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Luca

I got there pretty late (I had problems receiving the Photo Pass) and I did not get to see the Support Band. The place was packed and the promoter (Barley Arts) got the Mike telling everyone that for the first time the show was sold out.Everybody was expecting the tent, the circus acts (Not everyone knew that they where dropped from the tour) so some of the fans where a bit confused. KISS did the sound check at around 6.30-7.00 Pm (Even if I was told that they did another sound check earlier, around 5.00 pm, but I can't confirm). I received my passes just 5 minutes before the show and boy did this show start off with a bang!! I have NEVER seen an audience explode in this way before, maybe only close the the concert that KISS did in 1996 (December 18th). The audience was wild for the first 5-6 songs and then they calmed down.

I took Photos for the first two songs but the staged seemed a little darker than the one in the reunion tour (And I've just had confirm looking at the photos that I just developed, they're pretty dark...). I heard strange reaction on "Within", not many people liked it, and Ace wasn't up to level with "Into the Void", even though he re-vamped everyone up with the guitar solo which was spectacular!! I didn't see exactly what he shot at and what fell apart, but believe me, the fans that where there for the first time where terrorized! "The stage is falling apart!!!" Ha ha! I laughed out hard!

All in All a great concert, a KISS concert! And that's why we went there. Unfortunately the usual Dic* Head with the Laser Pointer hat to ruin the Beginning of Black Diamond.

Paul got angry and told him to "Put it away, or I'll Kick you in the ass!" I saw who it was, he was just above me. I also had the chance of a lifetime of having the "After Show" pass to then get to meet Gene and co. but fate wasn't with me and my destiny told me that it would be for the next time... My conclusion: The Italian fans are really hot and they love KISS, but I've received so many mails telling that they missed songs like "Cold Gin, Strutter, C'mon and Love me" and the request for "I pledge Allegiance..." is really high! I know KISS will read this and I think they'll decide what's better for the Next concerts...They know what the fans want!
