Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Double-A@webtv.net

I'll give you the high and low points, in my opinion. High Points- Psycho Circus song

GOD OF THUNDER-this is the song that had the most participation from the fans. With Gene high above the stage, ala, the reunion show, this song is one of the best concert songs that kiss has, and it did NOT disappoint.

Paul Stanleys' guitar solo- EXCELLANT.

Rock and Roll all night, great stage show on this one, confetti everywhere.

Paul Stanley in the middle of the arena, great way to give the fans that something extra.

LOW POINTS Within- this song was terrible live.

The song list- How long has the band been around? 25years plus, why did we only get the songs from 1972-1978, and 1998?

OVERALL IMPRESSION

I have been a KISS fan since my first record album, yes I said RECORD ALBUM, which was Paul Stanley solo effort, I was 7 years old and my older brother had the albums from Dressed to Kill until the solos.

This show was the reunion show all over again, with the exception of the songs from Psycho Circus. I seen the reunion show in 1996!!!! I am a fan of the whole 25 years worth of music, Every lineup had songs that are worthy of being remembered and played live in the concert. I don't want to go to the next KIss show and see the reunion show AGAIN. If the band is going to brag about 25 years then lets have a show that gives the TRUE fans, the fans that were there during the 80's and early to mid 90's, a show that celebrates the entire history of the band. Its a crying shame that just because this lineup wasn't there that we don't to hear songs such as WAR MACHINE, LICK IT UP, HEAVENS ON FIRE, and the list could go on and on. Overall I was disappointed in the show, but I will go see them the next time that they are around, but I hope that Paul and Gene remember back to the truely awesome REVENGE tour and give the fans the entire history of the band.
