Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Joel Mottard

I went to the KISS show in Montreal on december 1rst. I saw them 8 times before and let me tell you that this one was the second best show. My favorite one was in 1979 maybe just because it was my first show. The psycho show was really great and to see Paul's performance during "Love Gun" was really fantastic. The space effect of Peter's drumkit during his solo simly blew my mind and I was really surprised by Ace's flaming guitar during "Rock and Roll All Nite". The sound was great except for "Within" where it was hard to hear Gene's voice among the noise of the music. I would also like to hear songs like "She" or "Rocket Ride" instead of "Do You Love Me" or "King Of The Night Time World" but it's impossible to put them all when you get 31 albums. The thing I appreciate the most is the constant communication between the band and the crowd. Paul and Gene were always in touch with the people asking us "Every thing's all right?","I can't hear you!!!" They don't just play and go they really want to create an atmosphere and they they the night to be a big party. You can be sure it really was!!! Long live to KISS!!! 9.9/10
