Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Darren MacKinnon

First off, I must say that they once again put on a great show. The best thing about the whole night was Paul...He just keeps amazing me with some of the things he does or say. Great guy.

The atmosphere was a little less fun that last time, considering I was sitting up in the cheap seats (you can see everything though...) and I had floor tickets for the Reunion Show. The Molson Center was a few thousand short of capacity, which did not help.

I don't have much to say on the negative side of things, except for the fact that I would drastically change the set list. Comparing the Psycho Circus show to the Reunion show, there was only 3 new songs. And that, I must say, made me feel as if I wasn't getting anything new, because the PC songs were not all that hot. (Psycho Circus being the best one...) The 3D was more hype than anything else.

Now, if I may, I would like to suggest a few songs in order to make me (and presumably others) more anxious to go to an upcoming NEW show.

Christine Sixteen
Take Me
Makin' Love (was not played in Montreal, along with I Was Made for...)
Nothin' To Lose
C'mon and Love Me
Watchin' You
I Stole Your Love

And here are a few songs that I would love them to have play, but know they just will not:

Plaster Caster
Love Her All I Can
Room Service
Two Timer
Got Love For Sale
Hard Luck Woman
(well, I could go on...)

Keep these songs for sure:

Deuce
Do You Love Me
Psycho Circus
Calling Dr. Love
Rock and Roll all Night
Let Me Go RnR
Detroit Rock City

Paul was terrific. More explosions like at the end of Love Gun would be spectacular. Do You Love Me...I love that song. You people with the laser pens...Get a life. Within...A real shame that they can't nail it. KISS...well....What can I say people ...?

By the way, does anyone know when Second Coming is due to be released in Canada? Let me know please...(you can also e-mail me what you think would be a great set list)

Thanks for giving me a bit of space to share my thoughts. KISSASYLUM is the place for the latest info.
