Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: KingRaven7@aol.com

I just got back from the Nov 18th State College KISS concert! It was awesome! The 3D effects were great, much better than I thought they would be. This was the third time I've seen them since they reunited, and I still thought it was great. The guys seem to be in better shape than they were during the reunion tour. Ace played in top form, and Peter played tighter than Hell. His drum solo was awesome, coming out above the crowd, spewing smoke everywhere. During Ace's solo, he had trouble getting his guitar hooked up to the hoist rope, then it just hung there without catching on fire. Oh well, he's still the coolest. The rockets fired when they should. Gene stomped around, spit fire, spit blood and flew up to the rafters, all in all a normal day at the office for him. Paul sounded great, and seemed as though he was still only twenty years old. My only complaint is the way they end the show. I love Black Diamond, but it's not a show ender. They use all the confetti and explosions with R&R Tonight and it's so completely awesome you could die, then they come out and play Beth, Detroit Rock City and Black Diamond. It's sorta like trying to get it up right after you've just had sex. Just doesn't work. Still, everyone who misses what rock-n-roll used to be needs to go see this show. They really are the kings of rock, no doubt about it. It's worth it just to see and hear Ace sing Shock Me. Get out and buy tickets NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
