Psycho Circus Tour Reviews

From: Paul or Stefanie

I've just seen the concert in Toronto with Kiss. Overall, it was a kick ass show. Ace and Peter were the stars of the night playing dead on with every song. Ace in my opinion was the best out there. He played great and sang really well. As for Gene and Paul, well, it was Gene and Paul. Gene's bass sounded great and his vocals were great but his bass playing was terrible. He was all over the place. The set list was good but "beth" has got to go. If your going to do it, do it right with the right arrangement. It's a joke. As for the new stuff, Phsyco sounded ok, within sounded amazing and into the Void is new classic Kiss song. Of course an Ace song.

After some dissapointments with Kiss with crappy tours(Crazy Nights especially in Toronto. 60 minutes top, that year. Ted Nugent was louder and better too!) But on the Revenge tour(remember Eric and Bruce???) and the reunion tour, they made me proud to be Kiss fan again. I've been a fan since '78 and tonight they proved themselves again.

As for the volume, where the hell was it? The sound was clear but NOT LOUD ENOUGH. I guess the meaning "I LOVE IT LOUD" doesn't seem mean anything anymore.

Enough BLAH BLAH BLAH. Go see the tour. They sound great and Ace is amazing and I guarantee you that when his contract is up he'll be definitely doing his solo thing again and I'll be there.
