KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jason
The concert was the best thing i have ever seen, the doors at the entertainment center were supposed to open at 6:00, they didnt end up opening to 6:40. when me and my mate waked into the arena we could not beleive how close we were to the action, even the people that got the really cheap seats still had a awesome view.

the opening act started about 8:00 and went for about 20 min, they were the "screaming jets" they were pretty good and very loud. KISS came on about 9:00pm The black curtain with KISS across it was set up and then 5 min later the famous words were said the black curtain was dropped and Detroit rock city was pumping the crowd was going ape shit this is my first kiss concert and after watching so many concert footage of the band i could not believe that kiss was actually there, seeing them come down from the top of the arena on the rising crane platform was exiting. I thought Ace performed the best on the night, his solo was excellent and when he shot one of his rockets he accidently made some stage lights come crashing down. gene was gene and was excellent when god of thunder was on. My favourite kiss song is "i love it loud" and the thumping drums at the start of the song was going off i am glad eric replaced peter because i think that eric is a way better drumer and has more balls then peter. one of the other highlights of the night was when paul flew across the arena, he was only about 10 meters away from me and my mate. i am pissed off that i wont see them again and hopefully they come back in 5 years time but i doubt it. thanks guy for a great show and i will never forget it.
