KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

I could go on and on. I saw them on reunion tour and Psycho Circus, and overall, this one was the best. Skid Row was terrible; I felt sorry for Snake Sabo with this mediocre singer butchering the tunes. Ted was good, but went on a bit too long. KISS took the stage at 9:25. Same setlist as usual. some observations:

1) Peter was alive and well, especially on I Love It Loud. His slightly different eye make-up catches the eye.

2) There was energy everywhere. This was the loudest KISS show I've seen. Paul's vocals were blisteringly loud. Any other band that would have been terrible, but it was OK with me.

3) Paul's flying rig was awesome at SPAC - he was right in the middle of us.

4) Ace and Peter seemed to be loving the 3 non-make-up era tunes as much as the rest of the songs.

5) The end was the best-after Beth, Gene spoke! He said "Peter Criss, Peter Criss..." During Beth, Peter had remarked how lonely he was in the back so the guys were joking with him. Gene then said something about Peter's "package". They really seemed human and not programmed, especially at the end.
