KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: KISSFAN444
With this being the last time I'll probably ever see the band, it was with a heavy heart I entered Tingley arena. Skid Row took the stage for 30-45 minutes and they were an adequate opening band. The lead singer tried to hit some notes that he had no chance of hitting lol. Then Uncle Ted hit the stage!!!! I have seen him 4 times or more and this was the best I have seen him. He has an excellent power trio. If he would keep his mouth shut (politics in a political arena, rock and roll in a rock and roll arena),he would return to the prominence he once had in the 1970's. I am sick and tired of hearing musicians political views,U2 REM all these guys give us a friggin break. I don't care about guns and the government in the middle of a concert. Now after 1 hour of Ted the lights came up and we waited about 45 minutes to see KISSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! Having seen them approximately a dozen times or so I couldn't wait. I won't go into the set list cuz it has been the same for most of the tour. I saw them in March in Las Cruces New Mexico and they rocked the Cruces Pan am center, hell they blew the roof off the dump!, and this time they were so much better!!!!!!! I am serious I know that the Cruces show was the third stop of the Farewell tour and they sounded a little unpolished. Paul's voice sounded like he was straining. But in Albuquerque he sounded great. Gene's voice was stronger too. Now as for ACE, lets just say it ACE IS GOD. I have never been to a Kiss show where he did'nt steal the show. What a fantastic guitarist I swear he is a monster guitarist. Peter was awesome as usual also. The only real change in the play list was Ace did "INTO THE VOID" in March and "2000 Man" in Albuquerque. When they did Rock and Roll all nite, reality started to hit me that this is it, I'll never see these guys again. Let me just say thank you KISS for all these years of great music, great concerts and a helluva lotta fun. I have seen all the big guys in concert and let me tell you there is no comparison. YOU ARE ALL TRULY ROCK AND ROLL GODS AND DESERVE TO BE TREATED AS SUCH. Whatever the future may bring to you I hope you guys enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed you. So let me tell you people if you get a chance for one more show, go; don't hesitate, SCREW RINGLING BROTHERS, THIS TRULY IS THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!!
