KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Liz Lara
Well, well...what can I say? KISS was at their top persona, singing beautifully and pumped up the crowd with songs expected and new (Heaven's on Fire sounded awesome!). Thank you KISS for a fantastic concert. I am a twenty-eight year old female and I have seen KISS over 20x. I had floor seats, 11th row, Ace's side. WOW! What a performance. There were some technical difficulties with Gene during "God of Thunder" and with Paul during "Love Gun" but despite that, the show was spectacular.

Ted Nugent was awesome, "Cat Scratch Fever" sounded great and Skid Row wasn't that bad as well (although I really missed not seeing Sebastian Bach on lead vocals). All in all, the opening bands served their purpose respectively and did their job getting the crowd ready for KISS.

KISS opened up their set with DRC and ended with RARANPE. All the songs in between were awesome. Songs like 100,000 Years, Deuce, Firehouse, Let Me Go Rock n Roll, and Cold Gin sounded excellent. I can't wait to see them again.

One complaint-- they did not show the KISS documentary before the show like I have read about at other shows. What the hell? About 15min after Uncle Ted got off stage, the lights shut off and the Gene, Paul, Ace and Peter appeared. What happened after was pure magic. If you have tickets for this tour- you won't be disappointed. This show kicks ass.

I had a great, memorable evening with KISS. Thank you VH1 for providing me my tickets. **I had a BLAST with KISS**
