KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dave
Overall this was a very good show, the band sounded tight. There were a bunch of technical problems that started right from the beginning, we were just the unlucky bunch that happened to be at one of the few shows were things go wrong. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed the show, Kiss still put on one of the most dynamic rock &roll shows of any band in the history of rock&roll!. I was a little surprised that they only did two encores but I think they just wanted to get out of dodge after all the technical problems of the night.

I just have to comment on some of the previous reviews I have read without naming names. I have to admit the cost on merchandise at the shows is to expensive but not only at Kiss shows. $30 for a tour program is to expensive [ nobody made you buy it],$30 dollars for a t-shirt is a lot[nobody made you buy it]!, if you don't like the set list for Alive4 don't buy it! I just don't understand how you could consider you are bending over and taking it in the ass, noboby makes a person buy anything they don't want to buy! I say this as a long time Kiss fan and having seen Kiss 27 times since 1979 [I plan on seeing 2 more shows before the farewell is over]. I just want to enjoy these shows going in with no expectations, hearing what ever songs they chose to play, seeing the same old stunts, and savoring every last line until the last note is played and the party is over, because this is it the end of an era and I thank them for all the good memories.
