KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Glenn Rulon
First off let me just say this before I get too critical. It was an awesome show!!! I highly recomend to everyone who is a KISS fan or to those who are mearly curious go see them before they are gone. By now everyone knows of the technical glitches, but the band carried on with a very high spirited show in spite of the mishaps. Peter was awsome, I was VERY impressed!!! Paul was the most energenic of all, but he does need to change up his speaking stints inbetween songs. He should go back and listen to alive. Gene, well what can be said of the demon? A true entertainer to the end, and a very good one at that!! As for Ace, I don't believe he was drunk as one review stated. He did seem a little down, but I believe that has to do with his father dying. You could see him and Gene joking around quite a bit onstage. Over all Ace did a wonderful job!! My only real problem with the show was not the song selection or the technical problems, but with the sound. A little to much bass and distortion on a few of the tunes. And as a great side note, Shannon Tweed was about 20 feet from me and I even got the chance to say hello to her and shake her hand. She was very gracious and kind. Not to mention what a knock out she is!!

Thanks for the great years of enjoyment and for a great show. KISS will always live on!!
