KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: David R.
Okay... enough about the technical difficulties. I was right next to the center platform, so I should be more pissed than most. But who cares. When you go to Disneyland or Magic Mountain, some of the rides are broken or under repair. A KISS concert is not the petting zoo. Things don't just sit there for you to look at. The guys go out of their way to put on the best show on earth. Things are bound to go wrong sometimes.

As for the show itself. Amazing. These guys care about their fans... BIG TIME! Granted, I was looking forward to "I Stole Your Love" as an encore, but the rest was awesome. The songs I will miss seeing performed the most are "Cold Gin" and "Deuce". They really crank it up for these numbers.

The biggest surprise was how animated Peter was. Smiling the whole time. Slamming the skins. He rocked. By the way... is there a better intro in rock that the one for "Shock Me"? Unbelievable!

Anyway, I'm stoked about seeing them in Bakersfield on the 21st. I'm closer, so I won't be by the platform (if the rig works), but it will be the last time I will ever see THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD... and my favorite band ever.
