KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Dave
After reading all the other reviews and going to the Anaheim show I had to add my two cents. So here goes. I've seen Kiss 11 times now, starting in 1978 going through the non-make up and half-sold out shows till now. They are still the greatest band in the world!!! The show was great even with the gliches, hey stuff happens. I did have to wonder if Peter was playing with some help sometimes. I would look through the binoculuars and it looked like he was barely (if at all) hitting the drums!!! I'm not a musician so I don't know for sure. I think they should have done more 80's and 90's songs. To not do those was an insult to the true fans!!!! Where was Tears are Falling, Crazy Nights, Reason to Live, Hide Your Heart, Forever, Unholy? Hell even Shandi and A world without heros. I remember when Unmasked and the Elder came out. All of a sudden people who bought Kiss alive and Destroyer who said kiss was the best, all of a suddens says KISS SUCKS!!!!! When people were blowing them off saying they sucked, I was there buying records that you NEVER heard on the radio, and going to half filled concerts. I was there during there whole carrer, with Eric Carr, Bruce Kulick, and Eric Singer who in my opinion are better musicians!!!! Peter and Ace are great but let's get for real. They could have replaced 100,000 years, LMGRR, and Deuce (Those songs ARE NOT hits) with later songs. Again a great show, Paul is the best, a true rock showman. Kiss, don't forget the people who stayed with you, when those who bought kiss alive said you suck!!!

If you really like a band, you like everything they do. Not just the "old stuff", when Paul, Gene, Eric Carr/Singer and Bruce came on stage, I believe they were announced as KISS, were they not? Kiss, I will miss you, all members are the best there is. You got me through many hard times, don't forget your TRUE FANS!!!!
