KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Lee
Great Show! The Phillips arena in Atlanta is supposedly one of the best and most accoustically accomodating arenas in the country. (Phillips electronics designed the acoustics in the arena.) It really made a difference! The concert was by far the best sounding show I had ever been too and Kiss was really great tonight. I noticed a ton of sound mikes around the stage and I'm hoping that Kiss recorded the show for a possible video/DVD release. Anyway, I was most impressed with Paul Stanley tonight. His vocals were great, his between song banter was great, and he looked like he had the time of his life. Ace and Peter were smiling and laughing and looked like they enjoyed the 80s tunes. And Gene was great as always. My seats were right next to the "Love Gun" stage so I got to watch Paul sing it from about 6 feet away. One strange thing is that it looked to me like Gene had a box of tissues taped to his Mike stand (wierd!). The song list was standard, except Paul sang "I Love You" solo before Black Diamond. I am so bummed that this will be my last time seeing these guys, but I'm thankful that they went out on their terms. Thanks for giving the fans the best show on earth guys!
