KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Elliott Crawford
Caution! This review is full of spoilers, so if you want to be surprised then don't read.

Great show! They changed the opening for the better IMO. Peter is at his drums which are in the air, and Ace, Gene and Paul are on the other platform in front of the drums. Both platforms are lowered to the stage while they play the intro to DRC!

The audience was a good one too. Security at the venue told me that they had to add seats in sections they normaly don't put people in for shows because they sold so many tickets.

I noticed that the tempos were up and the playing was lively. I can't recall any major production or playing mishaps... it seems every time I go to a KISS show that I always give the review of "this was the best show I've ever seen them do... blah bla, bla. But, this WAS the best show I've seen them do...both performance wise and production wise.

My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that Paul didn't give Peter as much time to stretch out during 100,000 as he did in Pensacola...but maybe Peter told him he didn't feel like doing a longer solo before the show...who knows?

Anyway, I had a great time and it seems KISS had a great time too!
