KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: C.D. Bailey
Well for starters Skid Row was first and they were not too bad. I think they were better than "The Verve Pipe (96' reunion tour) and Econoline Crush (Psycho Circus Tour).

Second came Ted which I must admit impressed me with his guitar playing. His overall performance was good.

Then came Kiss, the big guns. The show was fantastic other than a few minor glitches. The additions of I love it loud, Lick it up and Heavans on fire were welcome changes to the set list.

Paul: Always professional and the always the ultimate showman. His performance was fantastic as always other than a time or two it seemed like his mic was too low. Outside of that, their were no flaws.

Gene: Rock solid performance. Better than the Psycho Circus tour I think. His singing and playing were great.

Ace: Good performance as always. The only thing that went wrong for Ace was his Smoking Flying Guitar Routine which screwed up because he apparently couldn't get it on the hook. Other than that, ace was very good.

Peter: Nice job for Peter. It seemed like his solo was unusually short however.

Overall: Fantastic show. If you have never seen kiss live, please catch them while you can. It is well worth the money.
