KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Steven Barnhill
THIS CONCERT ROCKED!!!! THANK YOU KISS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES!!!

Now, to the review. When I arrived at the coliseum they were selling merchandise outside so I went over and bought two shirts. One shirt was the "Legends Never Die" shirt and the other one was the "KISS ROCKS CHARLOTTE" shirt where they listed all the dates they played in Charlotte on the back. I headed inside and bought a tourbook. The tourbook might have been $30.00 but hell, it was worth it. The thing is giant and has pictures i've never seen before and if you think about it one day those will be MAJOR collector's items. I went and found my sit and waited for Skid Row to come on. When they did this man with giant ass hair was all up in my way so I barely saw any of Skid Row. Then when "Uncle Ted" Ted Nugent came on I fell asleep.:) Then KISS came on. I was sooooooo EXCITED!!! I don't remember the setlist that good but I do remember a couple of neat things. Everybody on the internet said that in the intro to "Black Diamond" that Paul plays "Forever". Well, at my concert he played...."I Still Love You"!!!!! I also picked up a couple of things for my HUGE collection. I got some streamers that shot up in the air during "Rock 'n' Roll all Night" and I also got Peter Criss's rose that he through out in the crowd when he sings "Beth". To comment on the band: This concert was PERFECT!!! Not a SINGLE thing wrong with it. Paul's singing was wonderful! He hit those high notes PERFECTLY! Ace nor Peter missed a note the ENTIRE time and Gene's bass wasn't turned up to high. I mean, this concert should have been KISS ALIVE 4!!!!!

KISS, Thanks for all the great times and all the great memories!!! We'll never forget you!!!! :)

"Do you love me?" - Paul Stanley "YES, WE LOVE YOU!!!" - The KISS Army
