KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Warren Hullander
Well just got back from the KISS:The Farewell Tour, and I must say it was one hell of a show. i got there early to see Skid Row play in front of 1/4 of the crowd that would eventually show up for Kiss. They started things off pretty good and the people that were there seemed to enjoy them. Their sound was not all that great but, the "NEW" lead singer was pretty good. Next was the Motorcity Madman Ted Nugent. He put on one hell of a show. His guitar playing mixed in with his political views was very entertaining. it was really cool getting to see Tommy Aldredge on the drums.

Then came the big one. The hottest band in the world KISS. Im not going to give the set list because it is the same as the other shows. For these guys being close to 50 or over that age they still put on one great show. The energy they show throughout the entire show was really good. Gene did his standard spitting up blood and flying to the top of the stage for "GOD OF THUNDER" and Paul flew to the center of the arena for "LOVE GUN". Ace did real well with his guitar playing and singing on "SHOCK ME" and "2000 MAN". The video of the band through the years during "DO YOU LOVE ME" was kind of sad because while I was watching it I was thinking to myself that this will be the last time that i will get to see them perform. All in All it was a great show.

Im just glad that I got to see the Reunion Tour in 1996 and saw the Farewell Tour in 2000. To GENE,PAUL,ACE and PETER THANKS FOR ALL THE YEARS THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN TO US AND FROM THOSE FANS IN CHATTANOOGA AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, YOU GUYS RULE!!!!!!
