KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Steve Daugherty
Loud!!!!!!Very Loud!!!!Skid Row was good, very heavy and tight."Uncle" Ted was awesome!!!!He was very entertaining.I liked his views on the state of our nation.I believe it hit home with most of the ticket holders. The crowd seemed to respond in a positive way to his comments,I liked the looks that the black security guards were giving Ted during his NAACP remarks. Now it is time for Kiss!Same set list as the other shows.Cool opening with the band decending to the stage.Gen looked great,my seat was on his side of the stage, great view.Paul was in good form.Peter looked like he was having fun!Ace was a different story. He looked so thin.He acted like he did not know where he was (or cared)!During Shock Me he was totally lost during his solo. Then he stagered back to the microphone and couldn't get it together,Paul had to finish the song. The lights went out but from where I was sitting I could see Ace getting some attention on from Pauls side of the stage. After a few "How ya doin' Chattanooga" screams from Paul,Ace came back out still looking disoriented,He was never the same the rest of the night. His playing was terrible.Gene,Paul and Peter carried the band through the rest of the set.Great stage show,I hope the rest of the tour Ace will be fine.It was a good concert but not a great one.I am still glad that I was there!Kiss is still the HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!
