KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Bob H.
What a great show. I'm one of those older Kiss fans, I saw them in 1975, & 76, & 78, 79....etc. And this was truly a great way to say farewell. I really liked the Psycho Circus show but this was just as good if not better. The video screen behind them was state of the art, the clearest crispest picture I've ever seen. Pauls vocals were great and when he ripped into "I still Love You" from Creatures it was great. "Lick it up" was awesome. I didn't know if Peter was going to do a drum solo on this tour, but he did tonight and it was definetly better then any of his past solo's. More powererful. But ACE stole the show on this night. Paul and Gene were looking a little tired by the time Psycho Circus came around and Ace's energy at that point was just kicking in. Ace was all over the stage, moving up and down the stairs, talking with Peter, moving from one end of the stage to the other. Paul and Gene never went near the stairs. Ace's riffs were crisp, quick, and right on the money. The lead guitar solo was fantastic, he used riffs from "Parasite", and other old songs from his 1978 solo albumn, by the end of the solo everyone was chanting his name. It was great to see him in top form. I'll always remember this night. All I can say is DON'T miss this show.
