KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Tony
With the exception of ten rows in the far upper corners, it was packed again tonight. Gene was a lot more animated tonight as well. As a whole the band was super tight, with exception of 2000 Man. First, Ace screwed up the beginning, then totally blew off the first chorus, he went straight into the second verse. Paul and Peter just stared at each other with one of those looks. Peter did make a good transition in his drumming back into the verse to cover for Ace. Overall, Peter was banging away just as hard, if not harder than last night. This is NOT the Peter from the P.C. tour. The crowd seemed to be a lot younger tonight. A ton of fights, too. In my section alone 6 people were kicked out. Oh yeah, Gene looked as though he was pretty close to falling back off the platform right as he was stepping on for G.O.T. One thing I forgot to mention in the review of last night was the wigs. I'm not sure about the prior shows, but it was really, really hot in the arena. Paul and Gene's hair got really sweaty and actually looked more natural. Gene's hair, for two nights now, has almost the same look as the ALIVE II cover. Nugent rocked, again. Skipped Skid Row again. I didn't think tonight could possibly be as good as last night, and with the exception of my engagement last night and being in 5th row center, tonight was just as awesome. After 2 nights of the insanity I'll be looking forward to getting my hearing back sometime Monday.
