KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jim Donofrio
It's about time KISS got some good opening bands! Skid Row did a great job opening the show playing 7 songs that included Youth Gone Wild, 18 & Life, and Monkey Business. Their new singer looks and sounds just like Sebastian Bach. Next was Ted Nugent, who was his usual crazy self. He called everyone from Jesse Jackson to Janet Reno a piece of shit. Highlights of Teds set was Stranglehold, Kiss My Ass, and Cat Scratch Fever.

At about 9:15pm, the lights went out and it was time for Kiss. This was my 7th time seeing them since 1990 Hot In The Shade tour and as usual they put on the great rock show. The set list was the same as other shows- 20 songs beginning D.R.C. and ending with Rock and Roll All Nite. They seemed to be having a great time with the crowd and I caught a pick from Ace who I thought did a great job tonight. I hope Kiss decides to continue because without them rock and roll will die. My only minor complaint of the show is the same set list. I think it is time to drop 100,000 years and 2000 Man and add Cmon and Love Me,I Stole Your Love, and another 80's tune either Forever or Crazy Nights. All in all it was a great show and I recommend everyone to go see what a rock and roll band really is.
