KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: David Weisberg
The World Music Ampitheatre is an awesome place to see a show. For Kiss, the pavillion was full but the entire lawn was empty. Now for the show. Skid Row opened and what can I say? BORING! I must admit, the new singer did hit the notes pretty well. They dedicated the song "get the fuck out" to britany spears. They were on for 50 minutes. Now for Kiss. The entrance was flawless. Same set list as always. No medleys this show. LOTS OF MISTAKES! Very obvious mistakes. Right in the middle of let me go rock and roll Gene totally got lost. He just stopped playing for about 1 minute. Then on Beth peter was talking when the music started and didn't know where to come in so he was silent for the first half of the first verse. During Ace's solo in 2000 man the hook for his guitar never came down for his guitar to fly up. He just laughed about it. Paul flew. Gene flew. The sound was great. Pyro was great. The World Music Theatre is really big so a full production worked for Kiss.!

This was my 5th show on the farewell tour and my seats were 14th row dead center. I must say, though, without being insulting, Peter is very tired and not into the show at all. Everyone else did a great job. Loved psycho circus especially. It would be great if Paul didn't do the same raps at every show. If he'd shut up they could play a few more songs!
