KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jim Lowe
WOW! I still can't believe this could be the last time I ever see KISS live. What a shame! Anyone who has not gone to a KISS concert...get there! Great to see them opening up with Detroit Rock City, I always liked that song much better as an opener rather than an encore. They really are like a fine wine, only get better with age! It was cool to see the origional 4 doing songs like Lick it up, Heaven's on fire & I Love it Loud along with all of the classics! The guy sitting next to me brought his little son with him(probably 4-5 years old). Had to give the little kid the thumbs up for singing most of the words to Shout it out Loud! Another guy who was painted up like Gene brought his little girl with Paul Stanley makeup on! I hope every one listens to Paul's little speech about bands today not giving a shit about the fans. He said not to waste your time & money on bands who don't care about the fans. KISS shows ya how much they care with the show they put on!

The fireworks, the bombs, the huge video screens, the pillars of fire, the blood, the flying & great music to top it all off! It started sinking in when the confetti bombs shot off during Rock and Roll All Nite that this was quite possibly the last time I'd get to see the boys! I have a nice handfull of it to remind me of the best damn live show ever! You can take The Who, The Stones, The Dead, Zepplin, & Pink Floyd! If you want to get your money'$ worth, there's only one live act to catch! KISS! Go see them while you still can!
