KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Bryce
This was my second and final show of the Farewell Tour. I was pleasantly surprised at how good our seats were. We were literally on top of the stage and for most of the night I could have hit Gene in the head with a nickel. What a great way to go out. I must admit that I thought I was going to be really sad (being my final show and all) but it really felt more like a celebration of a great career.

This was my second show and the second time I missed Skid Row (oh well). There were two things I learned about Ted's show that I didn't notice in Atlanta...1) Ted's drummer was AWESOME!!!! Some of the best drum work I have ever seen live. I was really impressed with him. Peter should have never agreed to let him perform before him!!!! 2) Ted is such a f*&%$#g racist. When in Atlanta, he shared his policital views (which was cool), but in Columbia (I guess with the flag controversy) he let his crimson neck really show!!!! I almost would have expected for KISS to address him after his performance. Anyway, enough about him.

KISS performed their asses off!!! Ace was much more collected than he was at the Atlanta show. Actually, he was pretty damn funny (walking around the stage hitting himself in the head). Paul & Gene were the ultimate professionals as usual and the the setlist stayed the same, of course. I did make one mistake in my Atlanta review which was saying that "Peter Sucked!!!!" What I should have said was "Peter REALLY SUCKS!!!!" His drum solo was more like a drum intro (for beginners). He more than any of the other three should hang up his stacks.

Having seen almost every major artist in concert, I can truly say that KISS has the best stage show I have ever seen. I have heard that KISS has given some poor shows in the past, but I sure haven't seen them. If I can pass one message on to the guys it would be...."Thanks For Entertaining Me The Last 25 Years!!!!!!!!!!!"
