KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Treasure
Let me see if I can give a females perspective of tonites show. This was my 7th time seeing kiss since the reunion tour.(3 times) PC (2 times) Farewell (2) and it probably was my last. WE Were able to take my two sons ages 5 and 9 who seemed to enjoy it even though we got lucky during the PC tour in Dayton and we had 10th row behind aces bodygaurd but none the we had good seats in polaris and they were able to see the show standing on their seats.

First off Polaris was a madhouse trying to get in, it was one major traffic jam but finally they let everyone park then we had to wait to be let in the food and drink area which was ok everyone seemed in good spirits and anxious to get to their seats. They had a small band playing when everyone first got their on some side stage over by the food area but we couldn't hear them. oh well.

They finally let everyone take their seats about 6:15. By the time we got to ours skid row was already playing but that's ok I got to hear them in louisville and they seemed to sound about the same. TED was good, He sounded ok. Although sometimes it seemed muffled when the wind was blowing.

Now to get to the hottest band in the world KISS!

Everyone seemed physched before the curtain even fell, once we heard "teenage wasteland" everyone was standing and waiting, then they came out pretty quickly it seemed like. They seemed to sound really good, I had a hard time staying focused due to some of the fans standing around me who didn't care who else could see as long as they could. The seating was sloped so everyone should have had a decent view but I almost got into my first concert fight when this lady wouldn't step down off her seat so the people next to me could see so they didn't have to stand directly in front of me, I Could barely put up hands up. Why ruin it for someone else, we all want a view but have some respect for others.

Paul flew a little back he didn't seem to have much space due to the sloped seats. But he looked and sounded good.( I was right next to his stage in louisville, and he looked DAMN GOOD there) I think his pully guy doesn't know what he is doing cause he couldn't get back so he got down on his little stage and finished playing. The kids loved hearing Ace sing 2000 man. He sounded good to me even though I have heard others diss him. All in all a very good end to one of the most enjoyable bands who have given their all to their fans. Farewell...you will be missed!
