KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Jay Gusler Fan Club Pres
How can you not love this band? From the opening theatrics to the confetti hurricane, the boys rocked Dallas one last time. The Starplex amphitheater is possibly the worst concert venue in the area -- bad part of town, ridiculous parking prices, and I think a total of 15 urinals in the entire place -- but KISS made everyone forget about the piss-poor facility (and double bonus points for all the poor souls who watched from the mud-hill behind the covered pavillion). Like most every other 35-yr.-old, 12-yr.-old at the show, I too was moved emotionally by both the fact that this band was EVERYTHING to me and Chip and Darrin and the fact that this could be the last time to see them play.

Enough gooey stuff...on to a sales plug. I bought an AWESOME video from a guy who shot 60+ minutes of DIGITAL video at the Salt Lake City show on March 27. He'll sell you one too (only $25 bones) if you send him an e-mail. More details can be found on his Salt Lake City review under the name "ALF AINSWORTH ORMOND." The video is the best keepsake you can buy capturing this final tour...I suppose you could waste $75 on a KISS hockey jersey, like my buddy Jeff did at the Dallas concert, but why not pick up an awesome video (by the way...I am not a sales agent for this Alf Ainsworth guy...I just believe in pointing out a good thing when it comes along).

In closing, if you haven't made plans to see KISS on this tour, get a clue and get a ticket. You don't want to miss the boys...or if you're in the front few rows, the army of strippers just hoping to catch Gene's or Paul's attention!
