KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Mary
Where do I even start to review my sixth and best show of this tour? My husband & I had fourth row center seats and were really anxious for the concert. We have had front row to two of their previous concerts, and even though most fans would kill for fourth row we were alittle disappointed that they were not front row.My husband had met someone at work that stated that he may may able to get me backstage to meet Paul Stanley, which has been my biggest dream for years! I would love this but did not hold out much hope. The day of the concert, my husband & I met Ted Nugent at his book signing & got some awesome pictures with him. I dressed alittle differently for this show: usually I'm pretty conservative. Well it worked & I was able to get in the first row. I looked over & my friend Treasure was standing beside me,not to sure if she should be there. I threatened her if she moved from that spot! Well the show blew me away. I had previously thrown a pair of panties on stage at Deer Creek & Paul had played a whole song with them on his guitar. This experience blew that out of the water. I waved my red panties at Paul & he fell to the floor, came out on the edge of the stage for me to hand them to him. He was inches from me & was staring in my eyes for what seemed an eternity! I wore a leather coat that I had airbrushed with Paul's face across the back. Paul saw it once & turned around & shook his butt at me! He then saw it a second time & I asked him if he would sign it. He said yes! Treasure & I spent most of the concert soaked by the water Gene was tossing & stomping on us! Seeing Paul play a song holding my panties in his hand & then putting them on the mic stand for the whole concert was a real rush! Then comes the best part, my husband's friend came through & got me back stage. It was touch & go with Kiss security but I was able to wait in a hallway for awhile. As I looked up I saw Paul walk by on his way to his car.I called his name & asked him if he would sign my jacket & he said sure. He signed my jacket,an airbrushed Paul shirt, and posed for a picture.Even though security was rushing him he was relaxed & wonderful. There was nobody else around & it was a great one on one experience I will never forget. I have the million dollar photo on my desk at work & all over my house! I will never be able to repay my husband for making my dream come true through his friend and I will never forget Sept 13,00 at the Nutter Center.
