KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Kevin S.
Speaking as a fan of 23 years I can see the lights are almost out. The show started with Nugent acting like an idiot, spewing his general disdain for anything un-American. When our hero's hit the stage I was as usual very excited the entrance from the rafters is great. That is pretty much where the great part ended! Kiss is and has always been my refuge from the real world. Listening to classics like Shout it out Loud or Detroit Rock City has always given me a real joy almost childish in some ways. Tonight they were tired, Ace looks like he's just not interested. The solo he played on Love Gun was not even close to the original. his playing is not clear and looks like he's stuggling. Peter played his usual uneventful but steady style. The true Heros are Paul and Gene who parade the very tired act out night after night and press on. Although at some point one has to wonder why. Is it money? I don't know but What I do know is that after investing over half my life in t! he Kiss saga I consider myself a raving fan. I think of myself though as I reflect more of a fan of the old Kiss! The one that truly was interested in performing with the energy and fire that made many just like me line the ticket boxes or cram the concert halls. To conclude, They were the best lets hang em up boys you look tired and your better than this, alot better than this
