Skid Row - Not as bad as I thought they would be, but he's no Bach!! Ted was good! He shut up and played!!! Only his Kiss My Ass tune had any of the ranting he's been getting slammed about! KISS came on and they looked and sounded great!!! Peter was EXCELLENT!!! Laughing and joking around!! Paul sang the first verse and chorus to I Still Love You on this night. A GREAT surprise!! Both Gene and Paul's flying stunts both malfunctioned on this night, and neither of them flew. Gene went up abot 3 feet 3 different times and then gave up. He was visably upset!!!! Paul barely rose above the crowd and went about 3 rows out and stopped. People were reaching up and grabbing at his feet. Ace had to pull him back to the stage. He laughed abouit it, but after the build up to go out, it made him look embarassed!! (Wouldn't want to be the roadies after this show!!!!) Paul announced 2000 Man as being "a album of the album Dynasty" which Ace found funny and repeated it with a laugh in his voice!! Paul lost his place during 100,000 Years and sand the wrong lyrics. This brought a smile to his face and he recovered nicely!!! Ace was ON!!!!!! He totally kicked ass!!!! Gene looked especially evil tonight!!! Paul was Paul ever the showman!!! This was a VERY small arena and therefore the drums couldn't rise very far up and so the bottom half of the cat on Peter's drums wasn't able to be seen. The flames in Heaven's On Fire were reaching the ceiling and at one point a burst of smoke came out as if something had been scorched by the flames!! The pyro seemed toned down for the small venue. Biggest gripe of the night, THE SEATS, they were SOOOOOOO small you couldn't sit in them comfortably. Neat stuff for sale. Picked up KISSRTORY II and the tour book. The shirts are made for small people so I didn't buy one!! Had a AWESOME time with my BEAUTIFUL wife who I love so much for putting up with my KISS obsession for 17 years!! Thank you Debbie and thank you KISS for all the great memories.
